- The framework of cooperation between the Regional Secretariat of CTI-CFF and James Cook University, Australia is to strengthen, promote, and develop exchanges and cooperation in the field of marine research. -

Manado, 22 November 2016: Universiti Malaysia Terengganu (UMT), one of Malaysia's reputable universities for science and marine and fisheries research, conferred the prestigious title of Honorary Doctorate Degree (Doctor Honoris Causa) in Science to Indonesian scientist Widi A. Pratikto, Ph.D, on Saturday, 19 November 2016. The award recognizes his outstanding contributions and achievements in the development of marine and fisheries sciences, both nationally and internationally.

New Guinea, Port Moresby, 1–2 November 2016, generated some commitments of action.

The CTI-CFF Executive Director, Widi A. Pratikto, paid a working visit to the Director General of Indonesian MMAF’s Marine Spatial Management, Brahmantya Satyamurti, in his capacity as Executive Secretary of Committee of Senior Officials (CSO) of Indonesia National Coordinating Committees (NCC) at MMAF Office, Thursday, 29 September 2016.
