As a response to the urgent threats facing coastal and marine resources in one of the most biologically diverse and ecologically rich regions on earth, and to promote regional cooperation, sharing of lessons, and facilitate learning across the Six Coral Triangle countries (Indonesia, Malaysia, Papua New Guinea, the Philippines, Solomon Islands, Timor-Leste), the Regional Secretariat of CTI-CFF is opening vacant positions as:

1. DEPUTY EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR of Corporate Services

An internal 2-day workshop on Branding and Communication of CTI-CFF Regional Secretariat will be held at the Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries (MMAF) Office Indonesia, on 28-29 January 2016.

The workshop is expected to:

1. Update the existing CTI-CFF Communication Strategy Design and Work Plan in accordance with the    latest SOM11 decisions in Manado, 2015;

2.  Review the recommended and endorsed relevant Guidelines suggested by the SOM11;

The Coral Triangle Initiative on Coral Reefs, Fisheries, and Food Security (CTI-CFF) is a multilateral partnership between the governments of Indonesia, Malaysia, Papua New Guinea, the Philippines, Solomon Islands, and Timor-Leste (the “CT6”). The partnership aims to sustain extraordinary marine and coastal resources by addressing crucial issues such as food security, climate change, and marine biodiversity. The CTI-CFF was officially established along with its Secretariat during the Summit of Heads of States of the CT6 in 2009, as stated in the "CTI Leader's Declaration".
